We have received a number of requests to include time based sponsorship in the Sponsor My Articles WordPress plugin. It currently only has a lifetime sponsorship feature where the sponsor pays for the sponsorship for the life of the blog post. This will encourage or is an incentive for sponsors to actually sponsor articles (at least have sponsorship conversions) on the website or blog. We believe that time based sponsorship could be a deterrent and doesn’t help with SEO. I mean don’t get me wrong, if you’re site is very, VERY popular and receives thousands of visitors a day then maybe Time Based sponsorship might work. I don’t know as I can’t test this. Anyways, we decided to see what the community thinks and get your feedback. So vote below if you want to have the time based feature added. If we see lots of requests then we will definitely add this in.
